Biography

I received the B.S. degrees in Mathematics and in Computer Science (with high distinction) from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in 1987 and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1992.

Before joining Santa Clara University in 2000, I was an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at Wichita State University (1997-2000), a Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania (1994-1997), and a Technical Staff Member of the Networking Hardware Division at IBM Research Triangle Park (1993-1994).
